User Roles
The LearnSmartz LMS for Corporations allows us to cater the LMS to fit your organization. From the start the LearnSmartz LMS has the capability to define the roles of its participants. We have the ability to establish and create new hierarchies to display multiple levels or roll up capabilities of the system. This hierarchy can also be reflected in our reporting and tracking modules allowing you to mirror your organizational hierarchy. This allows us to cater for each student's experience based on their role within the organization.

Admin and Learner
LearnSmartz LMS functionality revolves around 2 roles- the Admin and the User where the instructor is the Admin and the learners are the users. Each role has its own rights and privileges.

User Roles: The Learner's Capabilities
Features of our Application Development and Integration Services

  • Learners can change their interface language from English (Default) to French, German, Portuguese or any other language amongst more than 35 inbuilt languages.
  • Learners can interact among themselves through Live Chat sessions. The chat will support URLs, smiley icons, images, etc. Chat logs can be viewed later.
  • Through discussion forums, learners can make postings on various forums and exchange views.
  • The learners can upload the assignments on the server in any file format. They can submit their assignments after the due date but the delay time can be viewed by the Admin/Trainer.
  • LearnSmartz enables learners to view and evaluate each others documents if the Admin so allows.
  • Learners can also connect with his Admin/Trainer on one-on-one basis to address their queries and concerns.
  • Learners can attempt a quiz after each training session. The questions can be in varied formats -Multiple Choice, Match the Following etc.
  • Learners can view a calendar of events and assignment dates when they log in.
  • Learners can search for a particular term throughout the discussion forum through 'Search Forum' and with 'Search Course' functionality the learners can search for a course in the catalog.
  • Changes made by Admin to any document submitted by learners can be viewed by them.
  • Built-in Video Streaming allows learners to participate in real-time lectures and seminars irrespective of geographic location.
  • Additional content added by the Admin like Word docs., PDF, PowerPoint, Flash, Video, Sounds can be viewed and experienced.
  • Learners can create/edit their online profile containing pictures, email addresses and description about their interests etc.
  • Learners can receive Admin/Trainer's feedback in email.

User Roles, The Admin's Capabilities
  • Complete course control including content of Forums, Quizzes, Surveys, Assignments, Chats, etc.
  • Can restrict the access of learners to various sections of LMS functionalities.
  • Issuing online assignments and creating a database of quiz questions.
  • Conducting Online Surveys and getting learner feedback.
  • Designing learning plans and assignments for courses.
  • Editing text entries of learners in Resources and forums.
  • The tracking of learners' login information and their performance is maintained.
  • The Admin/Trainer can have different criteria for assigning marks/ grading assignments.
  • Adding new courses, issuing notifications about assignments and events.
  • Viewing chat logs and adding topics to forums.
  • Granting diverse access to different user groups.
  • Can add "enrolment key" to courses to restrict course access to non-learners. The enrolment key can be provided via personal email.
  • Enrolling /dropping learners manually from the course if required.
  • Conducting online polls.
  • Adding a glossary related to a particular course.
