User Roles
LearnSmartz LMS, capabilities of various types of users

Learner's Capabilities
  • Learners can change their interface language from English (Default) to French, German, Portuguese or any other language amongst more than 35 inbuilt languages. This gives the user a highly personalized and global learning experience.
  • Through Live Chat Sessions, learners can interact among themselves and discuss their queries and doubts. The chat will support URLs, smiley icons, images, etc. Chat logs are created and can be viewed later.
  • Through discussion forums, learners can make postings on various forums and exchange views. Images can be attached to the messages. The learners can view the postings based on their preferences: nested, flat, threaded, oldest or newest first. Individual forums can also be started. Each member needs to subscribe to individual forums. Postings can also be forwarded through email.
  • Learners can upload assignments on the server in any file format. The date and time of uploading gets recorded on the server. Learners are also allowed to submit their assignments after the due date but the delay time can be viewed by the Admin / Trainer. Grades and comments for assignments given to a particular group, can be displayed on a specific page. Learners also receive the Admin / Trainer's feedback through email that is attached to the assignment. As per Admin / Trainer's discretion, learners can be allowed to resubmit the assignments.
  • LearnSmartz enables learners to view and evaluate each other's documents. This feature is available only if Admin / Trainer chooses to allow it. When the learners view other learners' assignments, their perspective is broadened. Admin / Trainer assigns the final grades to the assignment.

Admin / Trainer's Capabilities
  • Admin / Trainer has complete control over course settings and activities. All course activities are controlled by the Admin / Trainer completely. These include Forums, Quizzes, Surveys, Assignments, Chats, etc. He / She can restrict the access of learners to various sections of LMS functionalities.

There is an automatic grading system in quizzes. Quiz questions and answer options can also be shuffled in a random order, if desired.
  • Admin / Trainer can conduct online surveys through the built-in Survey feature. Through this feature, the Admin / Trainer can take learners' feedback on a specific course they have taken, or a survey can be conducted to check learners' demand for a new course. Admin / Trainer can conduct a survey to understand the skill levels of the learners or any other relevant data.
  • Admin / Trainer can design learning plans, provide assignments, etc. A due date and grading criteria can be provided with each assignment.
  • The text entry areas such as resources or forum postings can be edited by the Admin / Trainer. A WYSIWYG HTML editor is embedded for this purpose.
  • The tracking of learners' login information and their performance is maintained.
